Master of Forest Governance

3rd Generation (2021-2022)

 

General purpose:

Form professional women and men, linked to the forestry sector, enriching their methodological tools, attitudes and experience to promote an integrated forest management from a systemic, interdisciplinary and participatory approach to strengthen local governance processes.

Addressed to:

Providers of forestry technical services, technical advisers, forestry promoters, field technicians, extension agents and people who accompany processes related to community forestry, forest management, community development, conservation and forest restoration.

 

Mixed School Modality:

  • Propedeutic 8 hours
  • 24 sessions of 18 hours, one weekend of each month (14 virtual sessions and 10 face-to-face)
  • Hours: Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • In the interval between sessions, at least 10 hours a week are dedicated to SELF-STUDY (readings, writings and practices).
  • A 9-day mid-term outing to do field practices and visit enriching experiences.

Accreditation option:

Title and Professional Postgraduate Certificate as Master in Forest Governance. by means of the accreditation of all the subjects and realization of a Reception Work.

Investment:

Semester registration of $ 1700.00 (One thousand seven hundred pesos 00/100 M.N)

Monthly tuition of $ 3,200.00 (Three thousand two hundred pesos 00/100 M.N.)

Tuition includes: postgraduate sessions (workshops, exchanges, seminars, internships), materials, cafeteria and food during face-to-face sessions. For foreign students we have accommodation at an affordable cost.
